Quebec City, March 17, 2010 – Translators and the general public now have access to an online training course on comparative punctuation by Anglocom president Grant Hamilton, available through Quebec’s professional order of translators, Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec.
“This seminar is for anyone in regular contact with written English and French,” said Mr. Hamilton. “It explains the differences in punctuation between the two languages.”
This popular training session has been presented numerous times in Quebec as well as at conferences in Orlando, Florida, and San Francisco, California. In all, over 400 language professionals have used it to improve their understanding of the subtle punctuation differences between English and French.
