“ I love the variety of the work we do at Anglocom and the challenge of getting every text just right. ”
Brooke Davies
French-to-English Translator

It took only days from Brooke’s first arrival in our office as an intern to know we were on to something. Clients started asking for her by name. Supervisors praised her natural, flowing style and solid research. Then the university called to say she had won the Concordia-OTTIAQ Award for academic excellence and aptitude for translation, and could she please have the day off so they could present her prize. She also became quickly beloved of colleagues—and quickly besotted with life in Quebec City.

We were patient. We let her finish her internship, and then even agreed to have her work only part time while she went back to Montreal to finish her studies. But in May 2009, Brooke made the big move, joining our team full time and moving lock, stock, and dog to the provincial capital. And Anglocom grew stronger yet again.
