Pure talent is a joy to behold, and what a joy it is to behold Mary Ann! A true-blue American, Mary Ann acquired her fluency in French in the very un-French state of Michigan, a remarkable feat indeed. In fact, we wonder whether the stork made a delivery error!
She began her career as a French teacher in 2002 after studies at the University of Michigan and Eastern Washington University. Later, she made the switch to freelance translation, completing a translation certificate at Marygrove College and earning the prestigious French-to-English certification of the American Translators Association. She also worked as an in-house translator for a French nuclear engineering firm in 2009–2010.
Today she’s on board with Anglocom, contributing her unique ability, innate sense of language, and amazing speed to every job she does.
