NewsAnglocom adds to U.S. staff
April 10, 2010April 20, 2010 – Anglocom announces the addition of ATA-certified translator Maria Edstrom of Chicago, Illinois, to its in-house team of French-to-English translators.
Ms. Edstrom is Anglocom’s fifth American staff translator, joining Monterey alumni Matthew Knoderer, C.Tr. (based in Montreal) and Julie Plovnick, C.Tr. (based in Burlington, Vermont), NYU graduate Andrea Ondak (based in Newtown, Connecticut), and University of Connecticut graduate Jesse Zimmer, who works at Anglocom’s Quebec City headquarters.
Anglocom has fourteen in-house translators who work exclusively from French into American English, primarily on behalf of Quebec-based clients. They are joined by six in-house translators who work from American English into Canadian French. Anglocom’s main areas of specialty are advertising, marketing communications, and government.
